Before you book

How do I know that my booking is confirmed?

Whether a booking is made online or over the phone, a confirmation would be sent to you via e-mail, which would include your reservation number and travel details.

Can I change my booking?

Yes. You can change the date of booking till 2 days before the booked date free of charge. After that, there will be a cancellation charge as per cancellation policy.

How do I pay for my transfer?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. We also accept Cash Cards and Net Banking. Can I buy for someone else using my credit/debit card?

Yes definitely! You need to mention the card holder details for the card payment but you can enter anyone's name for the car booking.

Before you travel

Can I take the car early?

No. If you want to take the car early, please reschedule your booking.

Can I take a pet along with me?

We love pets. But many of our members are allergic to them. So, we don’t allow any pets in our Jay Khodal Taxi.

Where will I meet the driver when I arrive?

Jay Khodal Taxi has multiple locations in Mumbai. Here is the link of Mumbai map showing various pick up and drop off locations.

What happens if I can’t locate my driver?

In case the vehicle you booked doesn't show up, we will offer you a full refund.

Do i get a refund if I return the car early ?

We do not process any refund once the car has been delivered. Any change in plans needs to be informed to the Jay Khodal Taxi office.

Are there any other charges that I have to pay?

The charges indicated in our website are the basic charges for renting a car from a particular operator type/operator. While our advance amount includes a service tax component of 10.3% and an online booking charge of 4%, customers will have to pay service tax on the balance amount to the operator. Permit charges, tolls, parking charges, etc are additional and will have to be borne by the customer and payable to the operator at the end of the journey.
